Overall Wooly Mammoth has a great thing going. This CD is a great EP from a good up and coming band. If you like the sounds of bands like Dern Rutlidge, The Superbees or Steel Pole Bathtub, you will probably find this interesting...not the same thing but a band that would fit on the bill.

Straight forward, hard driving, heavy ass rock n roll. No recycled 70's riffs, no bullshit posturing, just good, solid soulful rock n roll. First time I ever heard these guys I was thinking "Kyuss and Mule in a blender", and that still pretty much sums it up for me.
