Unfortunately we showed up a bit late and missed all but one of Clearlight`s songs - luckily the song we caught was El Nino Brown and it clocked in at around 15 minutes in length! ..and it was awesome! It really sucked that they were on first cuz the second band, Scratching Post, really sucked - generic alternacrap - and we were there for their whole set.. DOH! During Scratching Post I had nothing better to do that wait in line over and over to buy drinks so Corrosion of Conformity`s and Clutch`s sets are a little hazy, hehe. But I am sure that they rocked very very hard with huge amounts of energy, I just don`t remember enough to give a proper detailed review. Luckily I managed to get lots of cool photos of all 3 bands to make this feature possible. Enjoy! The Mystick Krewe of Clearlight Live at The Commodore Ballroom February 5th, 2001 (Click photos for larger versions) Note: Clearlight recently had all of their gear stolen after their show at the Deep Ellum in Dallas, Texas. If you live near Dallas you should keep an eye out in pawnshops etc for the gear pictured in the above photos and report to the band if you know anything about the stolen gear! Thanks...
