Wretch

This is their debut album which has a somewhat different sound on it (that the band doesn't think captures the real feel of the music). The sound is rougher and more edged/garage-y sounding. Even though they don't seem to ever play these songs live, there's still a number of good songs on the album. The album was produced by Catherine Enny, Ron Krown and Kyuss. It was released in 1991 on Dali Records.

Here are some audio clips of the more interesting songs:
Big Bike (113248 bytes) (hilarious)
Highway 74 [beginning of what's about to come] (175740 bytes) (good feel)
Katzenjammer (143508 bytes)
Stage III (188592 bytes) (awesome guitar effects)
Stage III (cool part, 193420 bytes)
The Law (138136 bytes) (that same Kyuss sound...)

The songs on the album are:

  1. [Beginning of What's About to Happen] Hwy 74
  2. Love Has Passed Me By
  3. Son of a Bitch
  4. Black Widow
  5. Katzenjammer
  6. Deadly Kiss
  7. The Law
  8. Isolation
  9. I'm Not
  10. Big Bikes
  11. Stage III

The playing time for the album is 48 minutes and 46 seconds.
