Many of the tracks from "Day Late, Dollar Short" are taken from hard to find (ie. 7"s, cassettes, compilations, and collaborations with other bands) previous Thrones releases. The album also features some very rare and previously unreleased tracks. Beautiful packaging designed by Stephen O' Malley, with humorous anecdotes/liner notes by Joe Preston.

Thrones has got to be one of the most eclectic acts in the stoner/doom scene. Odd ... maybe that's the best word. Dark, strange, stylish, eclectic, deliberately raw, pained and angry, underground and gloomy. Captivating and hard not to listen to, weirdness aside (or because of it, more likely), Thrones is truly an off kilter journey worth experiencing.
