My job as editor in chief of StonerRock.com requires me to listen to a shit ton of CDs. That�s been hard to do the last week, as Assrockers� Suggestive Material has pretty much monopolized the CD player. The ass rocking stays strong throughout the album�s eleven songs, with the band getting dirtier and more raucous with each track. The two guitarists play off of each other well. There�s a lot of give and take, creating a great dynamic with the bass and drums. Vocally, I got a whiff of Lou Gramm � in other words, good ol� classic rock with a suitable range. The production, courtesy of The Hidden Hand�s Bruce Falkinburg, gives Suggestive Material a live feel, with each instrument balanced. They chose themselves a fitting band name, because from start to finish, Suggestive Material is a righteous slab of boogie rock.
