San Francisco based Dirty Power are aggressive, tight and balls out when it comes to rock. Their sound is overdriven with leads, chunky guitars and soul. Very much straight forward heavy blues based rock with lots of duel guitar parts, classic rock style leads and strong melodic vocals with tons of great harmonies. Sometimes reminding one of Raging Slab, Dixie Witch, AC/DC, KISS, and even sometimes harder edged almost punk ridden. ROCK!!!

They embody the same air of genre bending macho thunder, the same effortless hellfire boogie and riff tyranny as our own Torch, Quitter, and Sinners & Saints. In global terms, that roughly translates to a relentless, heads-down assault of the MC5, Thin Lizzy, Soundgarden, KISS, and the Backyard Babies, to name a few.

This IS the best album I've heard this year. Some of the catchiest songs I've ever heard. I listen to this beast at least 3 times a week from start to end. Fantastic stuff.
