As long as you�re in the mood for slow moving, down-tuned sludge-doom, you�ll do well with Damnweevil. These four lay into some fierce, almost Weedeater-worthy grooves throughout the seven tracks. They�ve got all the prerequisites for the genre � thick guitars, a thicker rhythm section, and some evil bellowing courtesy of Demby. Oh, and some cough syrup-sick riffs. Brutal and heavy stuff indeed.

Take a little bit of Clutch for musical sake and mix in a whole lot of Eyehategod and Iron Monkey mindfuckdom, and you�ll be at least prepared to begin to listen to Damnweevil. I would advise, though, to not listen to this during your daily commute, for fear that in a fit of road rage, it will tap right into your most primitive basic instincts and cause to you unleash the fury upon those pesky motorists.
