| Into Submission (Pavement Music) This all reminds me a lot of the good old Twin Earth. Rockinforward like hell and stayin groovy. I think bringin out long-players is always a big proove for a band, it shows them how they are and if they are boring or not. I dig this CD a lot, cause its not just going through like a train and dont stops for a minute, where you can chill out and relax for a little bit. This CD is just right, there are Rockers, there are groovers, there are drug-infected psychedelias, just about everything. 11 songs of original playing and you hear the fun, these guys have. I think that Astroqueen will break through one day. This is very emotional and groovy. By the way, iI think there are still a few singles left of their MonsterZero release back in 99/2000. Get everything of them, its woth it. Pavement is the place to be!!! ralph bukart / Daredevil zine |
