Blistering chops and intersellar freakouts are the stock-in-trade of The Atomic Bitchwax. 3 mixes classic Bitchwax flair with the angular jazziness of Core, vitalized with an injection of Queens of the Stone Age accessibility. It's a huge evolutionary shift for the band but one thing is unchanged. The Atomic Bitchwax are an explosive, stratosphere-scraping live outfit, and this time, fans longtime and new will get the live Bitchwax they crave.

3 is one helluva album. It combines the best elements of the Bitchwax of old and Core's The Hustle is On and it fucking kicks my ass. The big difference here for me is arrangements - the vocals, riffs, parts, songwriting etc is more cleverly arranged. I for one think that the new one is some of the best stuff that they've ever done. Finn's playing and singing more than make up for the lack of Ed Mundell, so go and pick this fucker up.

3 bridges the gap between The Atomic Bitchwax of old and Black Nasa.
