If I Had A Horse... finds Monster Magnet drummer Jon Kleiman and former frontman Tim Cronin on a swamp-staggering quaalude quest that "any lover of '60s creep-show psych and Cramps-ish thugabilly will swoon for" (Phoenix New Times). Feeling their mid-sixties garage influences deeply, the Ribeyes draw from the likes of The Seeds, Link Wray, The Kinks and Chocolate Watchband, and swirl in a twangified shot of moonshine for good measure. Fourteen tracks of hallucinatory garage-fuzz, serving up a whole new take on the Monster Mag-patented demonic drug rock ideal.

Twisted brainchild of Monster Magnet drummer Jon Kleiman and spiritual advisor Tim Cronin, who smear garage-shock ooze over twangy backwoods drunkrock and filter it through a deft psychedelic-pop sensibility, adding covers by The Creation and The Beatles for good measure.
