From the adolescent riffing of Green Machine to the ingenious dynamics in Nick Oliveri's Bass and Josh Homme's churning guitars in Freedom Run, and the delicate picking of the 30 second piece of perfection that Capsized is, the album held all of our attention through its entire 51 minutes of playing time.

When finally the closing bars of Mondo Generator squealed away into silence and the intonation of Josh's "Yeah" disappeared there was a feeling of the emptiness left inside of us akin to the feeling when a well written novel draws to its conclusion and all of the loose ends draw together to make the tale complete.
