Filthy Jim is Bible of the Devil without the twin Flying V attack, Lamont without the shitkicker leanings, and Motorhead without facial warts. Ride with Death starts off with the boozy stomp of the title track. the band seems most comfortable sticking with fast paced riffs that are simple and succinct. The songs sound like they were designed to get fists in the air and asses shaking. If that was the band�s plan, Filthy Jim succeeded admirably with Ride with Death.
