Accolades for The Second Great Awakening
Carrying the torch for the future of rock n' roll, Fireball Ministry tear pages from rock history's past by evoking images of the dirty fuzzed-out sound of Black Sabbath mixed with the punk metal edge of Motorhead, all topped with a distinctive 80s era Ozzy Osbourne vocal delivery.
Just straight ahead hard rock with Sabbath leanings. Reverend Jim knows how to write a hook. Not enough bands out there that can merge riffs and melody as well as Fireball Ministry.
They take a simplistic riff and rock it. It's a riff anyone can write but not a lot of folks can pull off (kinda like Fu Manchu or AC/DC does). I love the Rev's vocals and when he and Emily go into guitar harmonies it sends chills down my spine.
