Comics Thread
« on: April 20, 2018, 01:43:08 PM »
I assume people here like comics?  ;)

I just published and released my own comic! It's the first in history to feature anime characters  smoking weed!  ;D

Decided to also make this thread generally about all comics, and not just my own.

So feel free to discuss and/or post pics of your collections.

I have a few comics, the best one to fit the stoner rock vibe though has to be Chrononauts by Mark Millar and Sean Murphy  (I bought it purely cause it reminded me of the Electric Wizard song) it's a total trip. It would translate well as a Bill & Ted/Jay & Bob duo film.

Im all about The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers.  Thats my favorite comic book.  I once knew a dude that looked just like Fat Freddy.

Haha cool. I actually have close ties with Zap Comix and artist Robert Crumb. I'm close friends with one of his collaborators named Dr.Hal who is a damn good inker. Went by his house a month ago and he gave me a 30 year old cactus once owned by Zap Comix founder Gilbert Shelton.

I have a few back issues of those Heavy Metal magazines from around '83 - '84.

Love bronze age Marvel Comics though!!
