Pre-Kyuss: Sons of Kyuss
Sons Of Kyuss
This is an early album before the band was called Kyuss. It contains
some of the songs that eventually made their way on to the
Wretch CD. It is extremely rare and only one person on the
mailing list seems to have an original copy.
Most of the album is identical to Wretch. Here's the track
listing:
The lineup of the band is mostly the same as on Wretch, that
is John Garcia (vocals), Josh Homme (guitar), Chris Cockrell (bass),
and Brant Bjork (drums). This album was only released on vinyl in
the Palm Springs area around 1990 and is no longer available.
I also have images of the back of the album, the
front of the liner notes, and the back of the liner notes. Be aware that the
liner note images are 600k and 400k each, so don't download them on a
whim. The plus side is that they have lyrics on them and the back
image also has a (small) picture of the band jamming.
I consider myself in debt to Jeff Funk for having provided this
information and scanning in the pictures you see here.
