Thorr�s Hammer was a project band of Goatsnake�s Greg Anderson and Burning Witch�s Steve O� Malley back in 1995. The band hooked up with Norwegian female singer Runhild Gammelsaeter and recorded this mini album on two evenings. Slow rolling, crushing themes supported by growling and the beautiful vocals of Runhild. If you dig bands like Burning Witch, Grief, Nightstick then order this one.

This is the final word in soul crushing doom, played at molasses speed with thundering drums and towering riffs that will cause your heart to collapse. Add on the highly unique vocals of Runhild Gammelsaeter (who was 17 at the time), who's voice ranged from a hypnotizing chanting style of singing to some of the most brutal death/doom vocals you'll ever hear and you've got yourself one hell of a classic sound.
