| Astroqueen
Into Submission Astroqueen are here to kick asses, and their nice explosive hard-stoner is the perfect soundtrack for a nice car trip...wow, they're very funny to listen, they're fresh and groovy, and really I think this album is one of the best demonstration of strenght of our beloved transversal non-genre called generally stoner-rock but with many different luxurious faces...and my god, Astroqueen are fucking good! They're style is fast and furious, but never angry and I like this; also, sometimes they're more psychedelic-oriented, and this is another point scored by Astroqueen! They've recorded this record to give you energy, they've recorded this record to give you strenght to go on and have fun, they've recorded this record because they're a fucking good rock band. Their riffs are groovy and quite fast, the vocals are very good, the guitarists perform nice perfect solos and everything is working fine, from the rythm section to the recording quality. I have to tell you this is a must, please check your local store or check out www.pavementmusic.com Alex / Stonergods |
