Accolades for Self Titled
A strange, infectious combination of fast-and-furious Southern Hardcore, weed-skewed Stoner Metal and quirky Prog Rock, SPICKLE offers up a little of everything on their debut CD, except for perhaps singing. But then, singing would probably just #$@ up the glorious musical miasma these cats lay down.
The sound of Spickle ends up somewhere between fellow intrumental bands Karma To Burn and The Mystick Krewe Of Clearlight. Theres the heavy grooves, the trippy stuff and some off that mathy stuff that youll either love or hate.
I like these guys like I like Karma to Burn ...and I really Like Karma to Burn... Between Migas, Karma to Burn, and Spickle, there is hope for instrumental music.
