Heavy Liquid, three guys from a deep past since highschool grew up on Stooges / MC5 / Hawkwind / Blue Cheer / Pink Fairies and a lot of mind expanding medicine.

HISTORY :

Trezz (guitar / voc's) and Suds (Drums) first real band was 80's Punkband "The Worst" who released a 7" and a 12" on Mutha Records. The Worst played all the NY / NJ shows of that time with DMZ / Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers / Suicide / Black Flag / Shrapnel and even bands like The Troggs and Sid Vicious (Sex Pistols). Hardcore punk played by a bunch of teens from New Jersey who grew up on Noise / Space and Hawkwind.

In the early eighties Trezz played with a band called "Flew The Coop" with Alice Cooper guitarist Glen Buxton, Heartbreakers bassist Billy Rath and a few other NY musicians. Flew The Coop did a few major gigs in and around the NY area this lasted as long as the dope didn't ran out.

During the later part of the 80's Trezz, Suds and Phil Caivano (Monster Magnet) had a band called "The Ratfuckers", another fuzz brain infested hard-rock band with Motrhead / Deadboys sound wellknown for their very chaotic shows. It only lasted for about 3-4 months untill they were banned from every club they played in New Jersey. The Ratfuckers was a band every fan knew would not last and every club owner hoped wouldn't last.

Jay Liquid (Bass) played in a few space outfits in the late 80's with a couple of local New Jersey members. They did the whole punk thing with the added noise of space sounds something very unacceptable in the 80's. NY wasn't ready for the true sounds of nasty Space / Dope Rock with a lethal dose of Punk.

HEAVY LIQUID :

Early 2000 :

Trezz was on a parchment farm working off a dept to society for illegal possesion.

Suds was playing in any band he could find knowing something big was coming. He couldn't picture what it was but endured years of playing with people who didn't knew the true meaning of noise. Space is deep and Suds was waiting.

Jay Liquid was playing a sonic bass in a small room, after many attempts of "normal society" he was found 'not fit'. Never never land was his home but Jay also knew that some strange event would change his life for the better, who knows ?

A very loud attack on their minds was about to take place. Years of drug abuse and rock'n roll has shaped the members of Heavy Liquid.

July 2000 :

When Trezz got home "on parole" he started looking for the members he visioned Suds was found, Jay was found and Doug (original singer) was found MUSIC WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN !

After being together for only two months Heavy Liquid was asked to open for Monster Magnet (who Trezz played the effects wizard for) and Sgt. Fury. The shows were large and very loud Space Rock. The entire New Jersey area wasn't ready for the assault on the minds that Heavy Liquid does not even today.

After recording a three song EP Doug decided to leave the band. It takes a very strong mind to endure what Heavy Liquid goes through. Being hated is our strong point. Most bands don't have the guts to gig with Heavy Liquid. Only the true fans of music understand what's going on, all posers run and hide !

It took Phil Caivano of Monster Magnet fame to produce the very first release. No other person could or would do it and what a great job Phil did ! He understood the music, the mayhem, the underground noise that Heavy Liquid made.

Right now Heavy Liquid are in the studio doing a song for Bitzcore (a German label) and The Turbo Negro compilation that will be released in a few months. Also a full length LP is being recorded. Negotiations with different labels are happening as we speak.

All releases will be available online at this site before the offcial release !

December 2001 : Trezz / Suds / Jay Liquid to be continued.
