Accolades for Emerald Vulture
Just as fuck all monstrous as any Electric Wizard or Goatsnake this will make you want to quit your job, black out the windows and commence to destroying the universe in a cloud of smoke and bile. Everything that makes good music good. As with past Sourvein you can't help but be pretty creeped out by this. It's a dark trip most of us wouldn't really like to take but enjoy witnessing the trainwreck nonetheless. Sourvein is that putrid, gangrenous hound of hell that will forever keep clawing and gnashing at the light.
The four tracks on this EP are quintessential sludge dirges. Theyre a slow moving assault on your senses. Theres something diseased about their sound; the tracks have a morbid sickness to them, and the gut reaction of good, decent folk is to stay the hell away.
Earthquake low-end frequencies, strangled desperate vokills and monstrous, battering drums. This is a completely enhanced release, with behind the scenes footage, in-studio and live material. Emerald Vulture features Troy Medlin of Buzzov*en fame, and was produced by Vince Burke (Beaten Back to Pure).
