This Swedish band released this album on their own before getting picked up by MeteorCity. On this re-release they added one track which brings the total now to thirteen. The CD starts off very heavy with the tracks “Thundergroove” and “10.000 Reasons”. Bashing riffs and thundering drums with aggressive vocals creating music that sound like a Monster Magnet going bezerk. From the third song on, the sound opens up and becomes more diverse and more melodic. They always keep their heaviness but it slows down considerably. Melodic tranquil parts are combined with heavy power doom parts and all of this creates a captivating atmosphere. Tobias Nilsson shows on this album that he has a voice that he can use in many ways. They also create sometimes a seventies sound. I guess you can call this album a stoner release but you would do the band short with this description. Blind Dog is much more than just a stoner band. They are a fucking heavy and diverse band.
