When I am not browsing the web or updating my page from school, I like to go to my place of employment L & R Heritage Roof Restorations and sell myself to people on the telephone. I know you may think that telemarketing makes up the scum of the earth, but do I really seem that bad to you? Honestly, it is just yet another way of earning a living, which becomes rather expensive when you have a $5000 loan for a car, a $5000 personal loan and the cost of running the car and paying for my Kyuss addiction as well.(luckily I have no other addictions to add to the weight of my hefty Kyuss one)

I don't really go out much except to do stuff with my friends like see movies every week or so, and when there is a long weekend or some other excuse I love to take the opportunity to go to the country and fly along the heat-hazed highways at 130 with the stereo up full, blearing Kyuss, Regurgitator, White Zombie, Korn and TKK into the atmosphere. My friends, Knud and Tony, who are into the same musical shit as me (who are discussed on the index page) live in Lismore (if you get out a map you will see that it lies about 800-900km north of Sydney) and they too go to University studying the same kind of shit as me. We tend to meet in the holidays back at Lightning Ridge (another 900 or so Km from Lismore) and fuck around doing very little except watching fucked up movies and going out camping in the stinking summer afternoons and freezing desert nights and coming back to town freezing (and them hung over) early in the morning to play Thomas' computer games all day till we decide to camp again (and of course get pissed again) that evening.
There are a couple cool photos of cars and scenery of Lightning Ridge near where they live at this place that Knud has through school. The Pantera was a really cool, home job, convertible Fiat that got thrashed a little too hard and ended up like you can see. I think this countryside makes me appreciate the Kyuss sound a little better than I would have had I lived only in the city all my life.
Oh, yeah. there was also this excellent cool kinda guy that i stayed with about 3 Christmas' ago called Danielle (ha ha poo ball, it is Daniel actually) and we actually drove about 800Km return to Forbes from Lightning Ridge at high speed (average 130km/h) listening to Kyuss and other suitably loud music whilst still too bloody young to have our licenses. Well he had his but had lost it. Fun at the time but pretty stewpid I know. Hey, everybody... i had to put that bit on him in or i would have been beaten up!!)

I look kind of like Jesus, I am told on numerous occasions, because of the beard but I am tall, about 6'2" and weigh 65kg so you can kinda get an impression of me without a picture (they are scarce), and have dark hair with the customary shoulder lengthedness common to metal people.

I have been considering getting personalised KYUSS number plates but am met with the dilemma of the fact that Kyuss rule so much they make me want to, but it makes reasonable drivers bad ones if you have personal plates. What do you think?

I also do some work with a company that does Archival Audio Revivals and that involves stuff like getting old home-cut 78's and restoring them to remove the audible hiss and all the splats and cracks in the sound. It is pretty cool work and the pay is good but it makes you heaps critical of all the music you hear, for example if it is a badly recorded tape you really notice the clipping and hiss present in the recording. Anywhoo, it is excellent and it is actually paid work that I enjoy.
