Adrenalin42 - Low Gravity Circus Demo CD
Here I am to talk about this good demo-cd from the german band Adrenalin42. This demo has 3 tracks. The first one is called Too Slow, a real stoned song (very desertic, indeed) that can somehow remember Kyuss; the song rocks, and is very good! Then, it's time for Droghata, a nice song, a bit in the style of Unida...in my opinion, this track is really funny, and perhaps the best of the whole cd...the vocals are very good, too.The last song is Black Star, a fast adrenalinic song, once again in the style of bands like Unida and Kyuss...I could say Adrenalin42 is a stoner'n roll band!Definetively, this is a good demo-cd, well recorded and with great ideas, but with few little problems...in my humble opinion, the first one is that sometime the vocals could be better, because the vocalist has a great potential to use. Another (very little) problem is the not so original compositions...it seems the band has listened too much to Kyuss and Unida...but it's not a problem for most of the stoner-fans, I suppose...in fact, many people will be happy to know that now there is a new real-desertic band!Adrenalin42 is a band that will surely grow up and kick asses, because they have the right stoner-feel and freshness, to rise & rule the stoner-world. I love their desertic and lysergic visions, and as you'll listen their tracks, you'll do it too.Start the generator, man!

Adrenalin 42 - Low Gravity Circus (Demo)
Review by: Dan Beland (StonerRock.com)
Adrenalin 42 are stoner rockers from Germany and they
have been jammin’ together since 1997. Although if I
were forced to guess I would have guessed Finland!
Coincidentally, Charlie from Adrenalin 42 is the same
Charlie who owns MonsterZero records. MonsterZero
Records just released Zerocharisma’s debut MCD.
Zerocharisma are from Finland and Adrenalin 42 have a
very similar style to that of Zerocharisma and Sunride
(also Finnish). The one main difference with Adrenalin
42 is a distinct ‘garage band’ rawness to their sound
and a double scoop of punk rock attitude and
personality.
While I’m not sure if the garage band sound is
intended, or if it’s due to the recording, the erratic
punk rock tempo and energy is a big part of the
Adrenalin 42 thang. Finding current bands to relate
these guys to is a little difficult. Their overall sound is
something like Green River’s raw emotion meets
Dozer’s fuzz with some Josh Homme inspired riffs
peppering the songs with a mild Kyuss aroma. Finnish
overtones ala Zerocharisma and Sunride are apparent
mostly in the ‘raging tempo’ songwriting approach.
Being that this is just a 3 song demo that I’m
reviewing I’ll forgive ‘em for the rough sound quality
and the few loose edges here and there. This is a
strong effort with three excellent songs! With a little
bit more polish to the production and a little tightening
up here and there I think we can expect some quality
tunes when these guys finally release their debut..

Low Gravity Circus

Adrenalin42-Low Gravity Circus Demo CD
Ok, here it comes, Adrenalin 42 was the first band in Daredevil, that had a really bad rating,
but this time they made a step forward into the right direction. A turn into good. "Too
Slow" is defnetly a cool song, I like it!!! It´s no more that punky stuff, did I
say punky, yezzz, but "Drogatha" is rocking, I´m amazed. "Black Star",
hmm, cool, it´s kind of stuff I would listen to more then once. From crap to cream I
would say, I would say this music is a mixture out of Heavy-Rock meets old Garage-Punk(the
good one). Not that I say this is brilliant, but this is cool, from this way I would say this
deserves a cool review.
