It`s Thursday so it`s time once again for another Bandcamp recommendation. All albums are either free or Name Your Price. Whenever possible spport the bands by buying merchandise or attend a show. If you really feel like it, slip the guys a few $$$ just for the hell of it. First is a three piece band from New Jersey. They play a progressive/classic/psychedelic rock. This is the first release form the band since changing their name from Cheap Sedated Hams to Ideosphere. The album is 8 tracks and about 36 minutes long. Next we have a 3 piece instrumental from Portugal called Black Bombain. They play a mix of stoner and psychedelic rock. This one will keep you busy for a while. The album is only 2 tracks but each track is nearly 20 minutes. Very cool to mellow out to. Next up is a demo by a band called Brains. These guys play southern hard rock. Very cool and 70`s inspired rock. Similiar to Sasquatch in sound. These guys believe it or not, sound like they`re from the southern US, well they`re from Ireland. Very cool sound. Next here is a great sounding rehearsal session by a New York band called Smoak. They are two tacks totaling just under 18 minutes. They are slower, melodramatic and trippy tracks. The second track, "Flat Stanley," is an instrumental track. To close this thursday`s edition of my Bandcamp Recommendations is a band form the UK called Snakerama. The Temple Viper EP is a 4 track one totaling 18 minutes. It`s a heavy stoner metal with bit of punk rolled all into one.
