Accolades for
From Under the Trees

Gonga are about riffs handed down from Sabbath, Zeppelin, and Blue Cheer. Imagine The Atomic Bitchwax leavened with Nebula, Dozer or Fu Manchu. Its blues-based hard rock, with an emphasis on rhythm, thick distortion, and Bonham-like drumming. What gives Gonga its distinction are the vocals, which are of the faint, strained variety and the undeniable influence of classic British rock.
