As with their full-length debut, Breathe Fire, the band excels at playing some fiercely heavy dissonance, propelled by some slick, tight drumming and tempered with a surprising amount of melody. Listen to "Fucking Temptress" a couple of times and tell me it isn't a beautiful song. Another fine addition to the Raise the Red Lantern catalogue and a good way of getting your feet wet. For fans of Akimbo, High on Fire, Jumbo's Killcrane, and Rwake.
