Rawjaw has a line on a heavy psychedelic mindset. With strong female vocals up front, they will alter your mood with buzzsaw guitars and distorted vox juxtaposed against a strong feeling for melody and beauty. Any one of you heads that are into Hawkwind, Kyuss, Magic Dirt, Sub-Arachnoid Space, or Colour Haze will get that "third eye landslide" feeling from Rawjaw.

The female vocals are very arresting, and definitely adds a very unique flair.

If you are only into headbanging and are not too familiar with listening to music you shouldn't try Rawjaw. Quite complicated song structures most of the time and is not the usual thing (the more fun to listen to for those who take the time). Very beautiful, very heartfelt music. Back then they were a great inspiration to us in Colour Haze.
