Accolades for Time Heals Nothing
Crowbar was never afraid to share their pain, and Time Heals Nothing exemplifies the New Orleans doom purveyor's well-practiced aching out loud. This disc might qualify as the sludge rocker's most punishing collection. The interesting melodies that emerge from singer/guitarists Kirk Windstein's damaged vocal chords are surprisingly hummable. Pulling double-duty, Windstein crafts the thickest of sludge-guitar grooves that nicely compliment the vocals and Craig Nunemacher's solid drumming.
Time Heals Nothing has one of thee HEAVIEST guitar tone I've ever heard on disc.
From the same ragged, kerosene and vomit stained rag as fellow deviants Eyehategod, Crowbar plays Saint Vitus and Trouble to that wrecking crew`s Melvins nad Black Flag concoction. It's worthless to mention stand out songs on this release, as all leave you pummeled and weeping tears of vinegar laden blood. This is the soundtrack to filthy backroom amputations and the film score playing to your maggot infested shivering junky life.
