Into Submission Shortley after a 7" on german Monster Zero Records, ASTROQUEEN are back with INTO SUBMISSION. That they can rock they already proofed with their predecessor, but can they hold the high standard of it. And yes they can, they even top it. LANDSLIDE the first track on the CD almost blows you away, killer guitar work, ass kicking druming and the charismatic vocals of Daniel, that's the ingredients that should give every ROCK freak it's needed food. The damn fine guitar work is it that makes them so special anyway, hard, tight gripping and heavy as shit, leaving no space for whimping around. If you're not fond of killer tracks like SUPERHUMAN GOD, the fast and furious PLANET DUST or the melodic THE SONIC RIDE, than you probabley stuck on the wrong page here. Ups, I almost forgot this is no Stoner Rock, but some damn fine Heavy Rock that combines the best of groups like MONSTER MAGENT, GOATSNAKE (the guitar riffing) and KYUSS (rhythm and basics) and some slight OBSESSED. The album is blessed with a killer production done by Andy La Rocque (KING DIAMONDS axeman) and co-procuced by ASTROQUEEN. The last thing I'm wondring about is why there's an excerpt of the QUEEN-NEWS OF THE WORLD cover is shown on the back of the CD? So I'am obliged to say this is a must have.
