Metal Nightmare Magazine

Despite the name, this band ain't blind. They definitely know where they're going. Somehow or another, they're one of the more criminally underrated bands in the Meteor City roster, despite being one of the best. What really sets them apart from most other acts in the stoner/fuzzrock genre is that each one of their songs is different. Too many bands have the bad habit of writing the same song ten times, recording each of them, and then calling the final product an album. I guess they learned it from watching black metal and death metal bands. But as I said, BLIND DOG don't fall into this trap. Even better, they're very good at capturing "the jam." You know, that part where everything just melds together and the band goes off into a zone where it could all fall apart at any given moment but doesn't? If you don't, give this another spin, followed by some DEEP PURPLE and Hendrix live albums.
