Accolades for
Doremi Fasol Latido
Doremi Fasol Latido is the godfather of grunge and punk all filtered through acid fuelled mixing at the desk and the powerhouse rhythm of Simon King and Lemmy. It wouldn't have had prog rock status in 1972 - Hawkwind were the darker end of the spectrum. This is a black album with the paranoia of "Brainstorm" the isolation of "Down Through the Night" and warning from "The Watcher". But it has unique qualities that influenced many bands to come. This is brutal visionary stuff and classic early Hawkwind.
