Like their self titled full-length, Morbyn Outtakes's focus is on execution and song craft. Don't expect any loud, raucous rockers instead, the five-piece offers up extremely well crafted and nuanced songs. The four songs each present something unique (with the last one, "Expectations," being the best, as its got a great guitar line and a beautiful melody). If these are outtakes, Dexter Jones' Circus Orchestra is going to knock people over with their next full-length. Because if these songs weren't worthy of the final cut, they must have something beyond awesome lined up.
