Lamont is one of those upbeat bands that has you bobbing your head and throwing your fist in agreeance within the first minute upon spinning the CD. It's rock and roll hard edged stuff to say the least. Reminds me a bit of the Hellacopters, The Glasspack...lots of bluesy parts back to back with slow heavy sludge. Good changes and good times for sure. Tons of energy, tight changes and a rock solid line up. Classic garage stuff to say the least...and the most. If you dig the MC5, Five Horse Johnson, or even ATP or Raging Slab, give this one a listen. One thing is for sure and I can say this like I am all knowing and correct- it is rock and roll. It's got tons of changes and they do a good job of keeping it interesting in that matter. If you like Tanning Salon by Drunk Horse, 'Thunder Boogie' would be worth checking into also...ROCK!

Lamont is one of very few bands I can imagine sharing the stage with both Rev. Horton Heat and High on Fire without being badly out of place in either instance.
