Violent yet catchy and commanding, Big Business collide with your head and keep bashing relentlessly, ignoring your pleas for mercy. Made solely of bass and drums, this duo (Jared Warren and Cody Willis) sounds convincingly like a 12 piece band. Lots of low-end, lots of thunder, Head for the Shallow summons forth gory visions of armored bulldozers on a rampage, tearing down men and mountains alike. Constant listening will result in bruising. Those interested in the newer High on Fire work, mid-'90s Melvins, and the heavier Black Flag stuff need to hear this.

Like a more melancholy Karp or The Whip. Jared's vocals remain undefeated.

It's a monster of an album. The freshest and best thing I've immeresed myself in in ages!! Pure unadulterated balls out dense thick catchy rock, simple yet effective. Pure genius in my book!!
