Into the Outside has plenty of bluesy riffs and a good whiff of soul. On top of the stripped down Monster Magnet sound are a bevy of other influences � some Fu Manchu, Blue Cheer, and The James Gang, for instance. It�s good company for Josiah to keep, and they manage to sound like they�re straight from the �70s but without sounding dated.

Josiah is one of the few bands out there currently that really manage to capture the authentic '70s acid-rock power-trio sound, style and energy while also sounding fresh and modern. Take some Grand Funk Railroad, Cactus and Groundhogs energy and update it with some Monster Magnet, Nebula and Fu Manchu styles.

Josiah touch on Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Motorhead with their deep grooves, vocal drawl and thick dirty guitars.
