Accolades for Jaggernaut
Backwoods. That ones a quintessential Scissorfight song grooving with machine-like precision, bristling with a crazed hillbilly madness, and as viciously heavy as it is catchy. The key to all good Scissorfight songs is the bands innate sense of groove, accented by the guitar and bass playing in lockstep. Jaggernaut ends on a solid note, with the title track. Between that and crushers like Victory over Horseshit and Backwoods, theres more than enough to recommend Scissorfights latest and greatest.
I'd definitely rate it as one of Scissorfight's better albums. Its a little bit more melodic and southern-tinged in parts which keeps it interesting, but mostly in sounds like the Scissorfight we all know and love. Aaaw. For a comparison I guess Potential New Agent would be the closest.
